Skyglow 03:06
grieving for azaleas all pressed into plastic in frames in the dens of dark houses, picked before bloom. the magnolias are coming soon; i fear by then they'll have rotten for you. before long forgotten; taxed out for talent and maxed out for profit. trading in sunrays for silhouettes, just barely wet, already gasping, in depths and in debt. tethered, pressure. tarred for feathers. fettered efforts. pick up what i'm putting down- stop chewing seeds to spit them out. stop filling us with empty doubt, there's parts of our lungs that are aching for air, we breathe with the parts of our brains that are scared to think about anything except what we're afraid of- the same things we are made of. pit us all against one another, gather up the fires to smother any hope for any other.

i moved to the mountains and wrote some soothing songs. i heard you got fucked at a party, i'm glad you're moving on. after every disaster, i've learned that there's a time and place for any one to pull anything and honestly i didn't think that i would be so right about everything. a fucking flake, real cool for a fake. a low blow cheaper than a high school date. and honestly should've seen you coming from a mile away. don't be so predictable. i fucked up and moved back to the city as only words can express. i tripped up finding higher ground but nothing could repress my empty expectations in finding what was left. the pieces of your blueprint soaked in everclear, the way you kept me dragging round year after year. you grab out through the ear piece, but there is no one here. after every disaster, i've learned that there's a time and place for any one to pull anything and honestly i didn't think that i would be so right about everything. a fucking flake, real cool for a fake. a low blow cheaper than a high school date. and honestly should've seen you coming from a mile away. don't be so predictable.

Leaving 02:54
i can feel around for it on the ground, see it sometimes in the light and hear about it being found but if it's all the same, i might sleep in late for the last time. if i look just right i can see it's light in a way i didn't think that things could shine on this side, but it's hardly changed and it will probably stay for a long time. a long, long time... if i was leaving i'd probably be feeling a little less down (just let me out.) these days are fleeting and i have been feeling a little let down. it won't show itself, but if nothing else, you might glimpse it's face in passing on your way down to hell. please climb the rope and ring the bell, please take your seats for show and tell, please do the things that we have told you to do in the order we told you do them and do them well if i was leaving i'd probably be feeling a little less down (just let me out.) these days are fleeting and i have been feeling a little let down. someone let me out...

about

An EP consisting of 4 songs written in the past year and a half that didn't quite fit anywhere, but still pushed us to discover where we want to go with our sound and who we are as a band.

thanks to our families and our circle of friends both at home and out in the music community. We want to spend more time with all of you and amplify what you have to say. We're all in this together, it feels wonderful for it to be worthwhile. Continuously encourage one another in everything you do. Tell your stories, let them be known to those who actually care to hear them. Thanks to Jim and Endless Bummer Records, Donny Burbage and The Echo House (Joe, Thomas, The Homies), Fender guitars and amps, Chips Dip Loud, Everyone who's housed us on tour, helped us set up shows both locally and out of state, you guys were and are the bomb. Thanks to our employers for being so cool with us touring and taking off for shows and recording, allowing us to pursue our dreams while having a means of living to comeback to is worth more gratefulness that we're probably capable of. Keep it real, keep it kind.

Bands you should be listening to : FS, Condolences, Pictures Of Vernon, Cloud Kicker, Naia Izumi, Haitus Kaiyote, Greaver, Future Primitive, Advent, Secret Stuff, We Love You, I Love Your Lifestyle, Poorly Knit, Magnolia, Phargo., Cold Comfort, Youth League, Slingshot Dakota, Totorro, Kimono Beach Party, Perennial Reel, Trudge, Dwell, Vein, Insidious, Iselia, First Marriage, Family Breakfast, Gulfer, Head Honcho, Joie De Vivre, The list goes on and on and on dude, music is sick but hardly as sick as the community it brings about in regards to the respect of other humans musicianship.
